The original primer/adhesive for 3M Primer 94 is the strongest primer available. It significantly increases the strength of the adhesive, which is essential for wrapping edges, deep embossing or other places particularly exposed to the pulling up of the film (e.g. fenders, mirrors, bumpers, etc.). With proper use of this product you eliminate the risk of peeling/lifting the film. Capacity of one unit is 0,66ml, which is enough, depending on the pressure of the capsule and the absorptivity of the surface to be taped - for about 40-70 centimeters of adhesive application. This is a single use product. Applicator width: 8 millimeters.
Glueing surface must be clean, dry and degreased. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water in the suggested ratio of 50/50. Use a clean, lint-free cloth (preferably microfiber).
Shake well before use. Apply a thin uniform coat on the bonding surface using a minimum amount that will completely cover the surface to be bonded. It is necessary to wait until the preparation dries, which is usually achieved in about 5 minutes at room temperature. Make sure that the pre-cleaned surface remains free of contamination before applying the adhesive. Porous and highly absorbent surfaces may require a double application of primer to achieve uniform coverage and good adhesion. Allow first coat to dry before applying second coat
Primer is best removed with isopropanol mixed with water in a 50/50 ratio.
