3M Blue polishing sponge 150 mm (50388)

The soft Velcro polishing sponge 50388 3M is suitable for use with the fine polishing compound 50383 3M from the Perfect-it III series. This is a very soft pad 3M with a diameter of 150 mm, recommended for removing holograms formed at the initial stage of polishing and for adding gloss. The sponge has a corrugated surface, which makes it easier to remove circular polishing marks and small scratches. There is also a smaller version of this sponge with a diameter of 75 mm and designation 3M 50547.

3M Polishing Pad yellow 150 mm (50488)

The soft velcro-type polishing sponge 50488 3M is suitable for use with the light abrasive polish 80349 3M from the Perfect-it III series. This is a soft pad 3M with a diameter of 150 mm, recommended together with the polishing agent to give a glossy finish. Sponge 50488 features a corrugated surface to help remove circular polishing marks and small scratches. It is possible to work without moistening the sponge with water, remembering to apply the paste to the pad on a regular basis. In order to properly fasten the pad to the polishing machine, we suggest purchasing the backing pad 3M 09552, the fastening of which is extremely simple as it is based on the Velcro to Velcro technique. There is also a smaller version with a diameter of 75 mm and the designation 3M 50536.
